I'm all about surfing being fun and that's why I only surf and shoot in small waves. It takes all the pressure off and means everyone relaxes and has a blast!
I love getting up close and capturing the critical parts of the wave, but I know when to keep my distance and how to dodge surfboards and sets!
I want you to feel as relaxed as possible, because when you surf like no-one's watching, that's when the magic happens!

Booking your shoot

Fill in the form
Tell me more about where you like to surf and in what type of conditions. I'll keep an eye on the forecast for the best day and line everything up with your availability.

Monitor the surf forecast
A few days before a good forecasted day, I'll contact you and suggest some times to align with the tides and winds.
03.
Shoot day!
We’ll meet at the surf spot, chat and get to know each other to help you feel as relaxed as possible.
I'll arrive at least half an hour before our arranged meet time to get everything set up so we can jump right into it.
04.
Delivering photos
I'll edit the shots and send them to you via WeTransfer within 48 hours of the shoot. You'll get the full, unlimited gallery.
FAQ
Do you shoot beginner and intermediate surfers?
Yes absolutely! I want to share your surfing story and help you capture your passion. I got into surf photography for people like you who never get shots of themselves.
How long will the shoot be?
Usually around 1.5 hrs in the summer and 45 minutes to 1hr in the winter. It gets very chilly bobbing around in the sea in Cornwall in the winter but I do absolutely everything I can to keep warm so I can get those shots!
How many pictures will I get?
The full gallery. I don't put a limit on the number of shots you get. That way, you can choose your favourites and if you're using them for social media, you'll have a good amount to scatter through your feed.
Are you available outside of Cornwall
Yes absolutely. I'll just need to factor in some travel expenses.
Do you do couples and group surf sessions?
Yes but I limit this to 4 people as a maximum. That way I can focus on getting plenty of shots of everyone.
When will I get the shots?
Within 48 hrs of the shoot. I get overexcited and can't wait to see what we've captured so I get straight on it! I'll send the full gallery to you via WeTransfer.
What size waves do you shoot in?
Anything from ankle ticklers up to shoulder high. I'm not ashamed to say I don't like bigger waves and getting smashed up. Surfing's supposed to be fun, right?!
